Breakthrough in dandruff treatment
a welcome relief
Dandruff sufferers received positive news this week when scientists announced they had cracked the genetic code of the fungus that causes this condition among millions of people.
The news brings hope that there could be even more effective treatments in the future, by blocking the growth of fungus, which lives and feeds on human skin and causes the itching and flaking associated with dandruff.
Dr Bav Shergill, dermatologist for the British Skin Foundation has commented on this encouraging development: “We welcome any research into this troubling condition that affects the lives of so many individuals.”
Also welcoming this news is medicated shampoo, Vosene. Since 1949, millions of families have trusted this shampoo to treat and protect their hair from dandruff. With its deep cleansing ingredients, Vosene, with its iconic teardrop, continues to be a family favourite today.
Helen Cooper, Marketing Director of Vosene, comments: “We understand the problems dandruff sufferers experience. Finding new and more effective treatments for this common condition is a very positive step forward for medicated shampoos manufacturers and dandruff sufferers alike.”
If you want healthy hair for you and the family - don’t forget the Vosene!
